Suicide continues to be a leading cause in deaths worldwide. Regardless of age, race, gender, or culture, suicidal thoughts can impact an individual’s well-being. Many people are often afraid to mention suicide because they think it will plant the idea into the mind of an individual. On the contrary, talking about it provides the individual struggling with what they need most: a listening ear, to be seen and heard, and a reminder that there is still hope.
