Chad Atchley

Chad is a retired Air Force member in which he served for over 18 years. He understands the unique stressors and challenges associated with serving in the military. Furthermore, he understands how family dynamics can be affected by these stressors and is ready to help military personnel and their family members.
Chad graduated in 2020 with his Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College and is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) working at The Mental Mediator under the direct supervision of Shannon Shadman Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Depending on the needs of the client, Chad offers in-person visits as well as online video sessions that utilize HIPAA compliant software.
Chad primarily operates from a cognitive behavioral therapy lens but does incorporate other techniques such as solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. He has worked with children, teenagers, adults and couples. He will work to create a safe atmosphere that will help you to achieve your goals and work through your stressors.
