Attention TRICARE Clients
Great News is Tricare has started paying. Please understand that you will most likely need a new referral at the end of the month.
What Will My Therapy Sessions Cost?
This will vary based on your payment method. If you are using your insurance benefits, you can call the customer service number on the back of your card to confirm your specific benefits. You can ask, “What are my behavioral health benefits?” to find out how much you would pay for a therapy session.
If you don't want to share your mental health files with ANYONE then don't use your insurance! They have access to all records and The Mental Mediator has no control over what is released. You are responsible for any fees that your insurance does not cover.
If you are using an EAP, you will normally have a certain number of free sessions before you have to pay with your insurance benefits or out-of-pocket. To use your EAP, it’s best to call them ahead of time and let them know you are seeing a therapist. They will then give you a referral number which you can bring to your first appointment. Please remember, EAP services are designed to help with non-medical mental health problems (i.e marital discourse, workplace tension, planning, etc). If it is determined that you are presenting with a higher level of need than a non-medical mental health problem, a transition to insurance benefits will occur.

You may utilize your insurance coverage by seeing one of our counselors that are in-network with your insurance provider. Our providers also accept out of pocket payment for therapy sessions. Speak with our administrative staff to find out who you are eligible to schedule with: 484-515-6125.
Out-of-Pocket
As our practice continues to grow, so will the insurance providers that we are in-network with. Out-of-pocket expenses can be intimidating but there are many benefits to this payment option. Autonomy over your care and discounted session rates being two of them. When you pay for your services, you are in control, not your insurance company, no one can see your therapy progress and you get to pick your services.
Please contact us for your custom quote
If your counselor becomes in-network during your care, our administrative staff will contact you to update your insurance information. Your insurance company is currently taking up to one year to credential clinicians, please be patient during this process.
Out-of-Network Benefits
You may utilize your out-of-network benefits after contacting your insurance company to find out what these benefits look like under your plan. Please have this information ready when contacting the administrative staff for scheduling. You will want to have an understanding of your deductible and the reimbursement process. There are pros and cons to this payment option. The cost of sessions utilizing out-of-network benefits is $200, which must be paid in full. Although you can submit these payments to your insurance company for reimbursement, there is no guarantee of payment.
