Beth


Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who received her Master of Science in Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. Beth’s passion is to create a warm, down-to-earth, comfortable space to come just as you are and work towards becoming your most authentic self. Beth understands how scary starting counseling can be and what a huge step this is. Beth is here to provide a safe space for you to work on anything you need, the good and the difficult. Beth strives to bring genuineness, empathy, and humor to each session. She doesn’t judge and believes it is truly an honor to hear someone’s story.

Beth has a very down-to-earth, person-centered approach; which means you are the expert of your life, and she is there to collaborate with you about your specific needs and goals. Beth utilizes strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution focused therapy and mindfulness techniques. Beth can assist you to overcome dysfunctional thinking patterns and behaviors, utilize healthy coping skills, improve emotion regulation, gain insight into patterns keeping you stuck, and process past experiences to aid in better understanding yourself and creating the life you want.

Beth is comfortable working with all ages with a special interest in early adulthood, mothers, and older adults. Beth can help with general wellness, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, boundaries, stress management, and confidence and self-esteem.

Beth believes everyone has the power within them to get through their struggles and become their best self. Change and growth is a process, and healing is not linear. Beth is here to help guide you and support you through this journey!

In her free time Beth loves reading, playing board games, watching bravo, listening to country music, and spending time with her 2 daughters, husband, and 120-pound cane corso Watson.
