LPC, NCC, Ed.S, SAC
Sometimes you wonder, "how did I get here?" and you're searching for the answers. I am here to emphasize your strengths in that "you are here."
I provide a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth atmosphere to all my clients and tailor my approach to each individual's needs. As a person-centered and trauma-informed therapist, I believe it's essential to feel safe and free of judgment within our therapeutic relationship.
I utilize a combination of approaches and evidence-based treatments to meet your specific needs. Some clients may prefer a psychodynamic approach to explore past experiences and find patterns in emotions and thoughts as a way of understanding their current self. Others may prefer CBT, a "here and now" strategy, because of its emphasis on current life, coping skills, and adjusting unhealthy thinking patterns and behaviors.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience working with adolescents and adults who struggle with a variety of clinical presentations such as anxiety, OCD, depression, and suicidal ideation, and have a particular interest in helping those with mood issues, complex trauma, and self-esteem. I have worked in both school and clinical outpatient settings.
I graduated in 2018 with a Master degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University. My post-education includes a Master degree in Education in Counseling Services (Ed.S.) and Student Assistance Coordinator Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (SAC CEAS).
Whatever your needs, I am here to support you.
