Amy is currently pursuing her master's degree in social work at Rutgers University. Amy is passionate about helping people who feel stuck, adjusting to change, or unsure how to navigate change. She works from a person-centered approach that incorporates influences from attachment and solution-focused perspectives. She collaborates with clients to recognize and enlist their core strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. Amy has a background in teaching yoga, meditation, and deep breathing. Amy also has experience working as a drug and alcohol counselor. Outside of work Amy enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, teaching and practicing yoga. Amy brings a great balance of education, life experiences, and compassion to Mental Mediator.
